Information we collect
AXE GEAR may collect your email address, legal name, phone number, country, reservation details, and the vehicle information you submit. If you use an operator account, we may also collect its account identifier. Vehicle information may include the VIN, mileage, location, ownership details, insurance status, recall status, and inspection records. To show nearby vehicles, we use an approximate city and country based on your connection. If you choose Use my location, your device may provide precise coordinates to center the map and filter nearby listings. We do not save those device coordinates to your account.
How we use information
We use this information to review vehicle-owner applications, process guest reservation requests, communicate about availability, safety, and support, prevent misuse, and operate the AXE GEAR marketplace.
Payments and identity checks
AXE GEAR uses Stripe to process approved rental payments, refundable deposit authorizations, owner verification, and owner payouts when these services are activated. AXE GEAR does not store complete payment-card or bank-account numbers. Stripe handles those details under its own privacy terms.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell personal information. We may share only the information necessary with vehicle owners, renters, service providers, insurers, authorities, or professional advisers to operate the service, protect safety, investigate misuse, or comply with law.
Retention and deletion
You can request deletion assistance through Gear-Pro. We may retain limited information when required for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements.
Security and international use
We use reasonable administrative and technical protections, but no online system is completely secure. If you access AXE GEAR from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our service providers.
Children
AXE GEAR is not intended for children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
